I'm puzzled about how to get the cover off the interior is
lights, the one above the kitchen sink, namely. It seems the white plastic cover should come off easily enough but I can't seem to get it off. Just don't want to cause any damage. Is there a secret that anyone can share?
Depends on what type of fixture you have. A picture or description would help.

If the fixture is like this one then just squeeze in on the lens near the center and slide out...

Actually they should slide back about an 1/16 of an inch away from the middle and then just fall out. At least that is the way mine works. Don't have to squeeze them at all.
