I have Marathons on my TT and after over 15,000 miles they still look good. But mine were made in the good ol' USA, not China.

There's a small amount of sidewall dimpling, but as was said before, I don't think that's a durability issue. I'll probably keep them on for another 5000 miles or so before I replace them.

Ya thank for the pics. I may be replacing mine before this summers trip. Any body want to buy 4 goodyears with very low mileage on them?

You are lucky to have US made Goodyears. They only did that for a short time. They currently made in China.

It's time, not miles, that kill trailer tires. Replace them before 5 years of age (stamped on the sidewall). I've towed many miles. They age out or fail before the tread wears out.

Do wheel covers extend life?

I keep my tires covered whenever it sits for a while. Will that extend tire life?

Thanks
Grant

Grant, I keep my tires covered as well.

Even if kept covered, the tires should be replaced every 5 years.
