Got a tent. delivery date

Ordered my White Hawk last Friday Feb. 26th and they just let me know that Jayco projected mid to late April for delivery. After reading much on here about folks who waited around 16 weeks for theirs, I don't think I am in bad shape. must be a "run" coming up on them possibly. Can't get here soon enough though. I already have several things in mind that I want to do when I get it in the drive. For sure going to install a detachable 30 amp cord kit and an additional 120v outlet in the rear console. We have sattlelight TV ordered as well. So I'll be busy with it as soon as it comes. Don't think April is too bad of a wait though considering.

Congrats! Ordered our camper 21-Feb, and I would be ecstatic if I received it by end of April. Patience is not one of my stronger traits lol

Last year I ordered my 2015 Jayflight on 2/28/15 and it was delivered on 4/28/15, just as the dealer predicted.

That would be awesome if it works out that way for us!

Hopin for that here as well guys. Like force, I have no patience either. I saw somewhere on the forum that Jayco is building campers on Saturday to keep up. Kudos to them for that. Can't wait folks.

When I first saw the title to this thread I was expecting something like "I got a tent to camp in because my delivery date has been postponed." lol.

bradw, I ordered my 23RLSW the end of Dec. I'm told delivery will be in mid April. Been as patient as I can be but that's still a long time to wait.

Did you buy your TT at Ketelsen's?

FYI, I'm a former Hawkeye, born and raised in CR, SW side. Lived in Hiawatha also. Out here in SoCal since 1981.

Hope your delivery date is what they tell you it will be. Your lucky. Wireman

Yep bought from Kettlesons. I know Gary, so I wanted to get it there if they were competitive and they seemed to be. I actually live on the SW side of CR near Jefferson HS.
I know what you're going through because I am pretty impatient myself. Can't get here soon enough.

You might want to start booking your sites so you're not caught between a rock and a hard place once you have it and want to camp. Especially book the shakedown trip if you don't store on your own property.

Country Mouse, I have a resv. around the 29th of April. I just hope it's here by then. Then a 5 week trip to Yellowstone, Tetons, and Estes Park in mid Aug to mid Sept. Made those resv. 2 months ago.

Great! Yeah, we were in that boat last July. When we picked it up we basically took it home loaded it up and went straight to our campsite next morning, that's how close it was for us! Sounds like you have some fun trips planned.

bradw, grew up around Czech village. Was back to CR last year for Jefferson 50th class reunion.

Had a class A last year and camped at Morgan creek. Nice place except for the mosquitos. Sold the A and down sizing. Hope spring comes soon for you.

Is this your first RV? Where are your camping spots back there? Wireman

Country Mouse, yea just a short trip to Jurupa Park 1st. Then some weekend trips to the San Diego area before the big one in Aug.

Hopefully all the bugs will be fixed before then. Wireman

We currently have a 26 foot Flagstaff that we are trading for that Whitehawk.
More times than not, we head for Van Buren County near a little town called Keosaqua. My mom is from that area and we absolutely love it down there. I call it God's country. Other than that we sorta bounce around to different places.
Id go right now if it would just warm up. Got the itch to camp badly.

Looks like a few us of us ordered in February. We ordered our Jay Flight 29QBS Elite on Feb 23. The "estimated delivery date" is April 23. We were told that orders were running around 8-10 weeks.

It will be nice to hear what the actual 'build date' turns out to be! I'll post here when we find out :

Certainly will be interesting to see how it all ends up. I will keep watching here for sure. They told me at my dealership that a lot of it has to do with delivery drivers and their ability to get them to each dealer. Makes sense I guess. I was joking but I replied. "I'll go get it when it's done" lol

I'm told everything is built in runs by unit and model type. So it might depend how your model and order fell in the cycle of production.

My model (JayFeather 23RLSW)may have just finished it's run just before my order was received, but I'm not really sure on that.

So that could be the reason on a tentative build date of the 1st week of April. That would be 13 weeks from my order date, plus delivery time to SoCal.

I'll be surprised if it's earlier because of the large influx of orders Jayco has had.

I did talk to the west coast factory rep directly, and he is the one who gave me the info on my unit.

How do you get a hold of the West Coast factory rep I wish I had that info during the order process as well as the 'break in' period of our previous tt years ago.
