Grill slide in outdoor kitchen not locking open

In video we saw before purchase it shows some method of latching to secure grill open so doesn't slide in when cooking. It appears our model does not have this feature. We just picked up a 2021 jay feather 24bh. Any feedback appreciated.

Does it have a set of support struts under the drawer?

It does not. I'm told there are blue tabs that lock them in. Didn't come with, not sure why.
