Group 24 or larger....

Is anyone using larger battery than the dealer provided Group 24 battery on their Swift SLX models?
Space and weight are not issues...thanks.

The batteries are provided by the dealership not the manufacturer and they tend to go with the smallest and cheapest battery they can find to cut cost.

Use what every battery fits and suits your style of camping... Alot of folks like to go with the two GC2 golf cart type 6VDC batteries "in series" to give them 12VDC at a 220AH capacity or more that really does the job when camping off the power grid and can be found at a VERY good price since there is a hugh demand for the golf cart batteries. COSTCO/SAMS club has great prices for them...

Adding more batteries or larger capacity type batteries may require you to install a larger capacity converter/charging system.
