Just wanted to start a little tips page.

When washing your dishes. Catch the water in a tub and dump down your toilet. Saves on grey tank space

Make sure there isn't anything left in the wash pan. Someone on the forum, dumped a spoon down the toilet a few years back. Took about a year or more to retrieve it.

Tip, use a propane torch and a 1 lbs propane tank to start your campfire.

Actually check your camper taillights, brake lights etc BEFORE YOU GET ON THE ROAD . There must have been half dozen campers with zero working lights this weekend. It takes a minute...

Carry an infrared thermometer in your TV so you can check your bearings for excessive heat.

Add an inexpensive “Y” water shutoff to your fresh water hookup items. Attached to the campground hose bib, it allows you to turn off the water to the RV when you leave with a quick quarter-turn valve. It also gives you a second faucet to rinse off sandy feet or hands, or to hook up your black tank rinse hose.

We use the plastic bags from the grocery store to line the trash can. Tie the ends together to close. Cut a 2" hole in the middle of a gallon milk jug and push the trash bags into the bottle. Now you have compact storage for the bags.

Don't buy a plastic one like the one at CW.. I had to replace the brass one I left at a campsite an learned the hard way. UGH

And this is a way to relieve the pressure on the hose before disconnecting it so you don't get a shower!

On our fiver was a ring over the toilet to store a towel. We installed two stainless steel towel bars on the shower door to hold our towels. They came with 3M doublesided tape which adhered to the rough glass very well. They have been on the door for two years. Sorry the picture is rotated. The top of the shower door is on the left.

I left one at a CG one October, our last trip of the season. The next May we were back at the same site. The Y adapter was still there!

Wow! I left my adjustable pressure reg attached to the CG bib. Realized what I’d done about 2 hrs down the road and called the CG. Nope, already gone.

I try to do stupid things only once, it’s much cheaper that way.

Since I'm cripple and have problems using the door holder that holds the door open, I bought a magnetic door stop. It has a spring loaded magnet so to release the door is an easy bounce on the door. It holds in 20 mph winds. Put it at the furthest end of the door for maximum hold. You can get them from Amazon. Sorry the picture is upside down.

I like that! That door holder is kind of a pain anyway.

I installed that on the bedroom door. Holds the door open. Also, if I forget to shut the door traveling, it still stays put.

I inserted barbed hose fittings x 1/2" male pipe thread (and hose clamps) into the overflow hoses on my fresh water tanks. Then I screwed on 1/4-turn shut-off valves. I open them while filling my tanks. When the water starts coming out, I close them and turn off the fill hose. That way, I still have full tanks when I get to my campsite. Once I've taken a shower, I open the valves back up to allow air to enter to displace the water as I use it.

My 195RB has a panel held on with two decorative screws. I had to open it each time I drained the tanks, added pink or wanted to service the water heater valves or the pump. I added two hidden, self-closing hinges, cut off the screws and glued the heads into the holes. Now all I have to do is open the hatch door to get at them. Saves time finding the peanut screwdriver!

I did the quick connect mod to our Weber grill so it runs off the trailer’s propane system. I was so impressed with it I did the same mod to our portable propane fire pit.
