Hair line crack in plastic ?? bath sink

Have found about a four inch hairline crack (not leaking yet) In my 2012 Eagle 298 rls t/t. Not leaking at this time. Anything to seal this now! Unable to find why or how this occurred. Starts at drain and runs up the side of sink. Do not see any type stress. Perhaps something heavy fell into sink?? Wife says no to bottles, makeup mirror, or hair dryer????????? Can it be sealed?

My kitchen sink had a hairline crack in it but thankfully it was covered under warranty. If it wasn't I would have bought 3M™ Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200. I have used this for my boat and was very happy with its sealing properties. Apply to the underside and seal it up well. In an hour it will become tacky and fully cure in 2 days. Could be worth a try before you spend money and replace it.

If the underside can be accessed the 3M 5200 is a very good idea. Including a bit of Henry roof repair mesh might add strength for the long term.

If the underside can't be accessed some Eternabond tape will probably buy you some time. You can hide the tape with some of Sheldon's non-slip ducks. The Big Bang theory Adhesive Duck Deficiency comes to mind.
