Yah it’s worked out pretty well. Have been using it all summer and it’s held up. As u said extra counter on the side fits tongs and a plate for food. I keep the grill and counter in the pass thru storage when traveling.
Btw - thanks scloyd for flipping pics!

Bump. I'm getting ready to build this. Has anyone seen a better design? Improvements? Potential problems?

Has anyone done this. Also, will my bumper need additional reinforcement for the mount?
Thank you for any insight/advice.

This is built for the 17” or 22” Blackstone. No need to make modifications.

I already have a BBQ grill mount so an hour or so in my shop and $50 in materials probably makes more sense to me.

I ended up taking the mounts off the side of the cheap grill that came with the camper and then screwed them into the side of the Blackstone… the mounts are some what diagonally mounted. I balanced the Blackstone and collapsed the bbq bumper mount enough to get everything to work… I used the smaller Blackstone….. has worked great for 3 years. Will be camping this weekend, so can send a pic then if you’d like.
Edit found some pics on my phone.

Amazon had everything for a 17 Blackstone swing out on a 212QBW. Works prefect but I wish that I bought the 22 inch.

I just found this post and really like your build. What size are the pipe brackets and are they a tight fit? Wondering if they are stable or move around when flipping burgers.

So, i was thinking about this, and i rather my setup where it's just a stand i put up and attach the blackstone to it.
Bumper mounts work if the ground is level.
This summer i had multiple sites where my bumper was 5' high or litterally sitting on the ground. Not sure how having a bumper mount this would work. I rather the stand i got with the adventure ready.

Valid point about the height due to site being uneven. I prefer my bumper mount over a stand so I don't have to deal with the dog's leash wrapping around the stand/table.
Recently purchased a 17" Blackstone to replace my little Weber and need a larger surface.

Did you end up building one? If so, what design did you go with?
