I'm with all those who suggest antifreeze. My rig takes about a gallon and a half of under $3 antifreeze and about 15 minutes. I'm faster than most 'cause I don't drink beer!

For the time, effort and cost, I would suggest you just winterize it and don't worry about it. Having just done my first "winterization" I support the other claims that it really is about $10 in anti-freeze and 10-15 min of effort to run it through your lines.

Come spring, fill up with water, run your lines, and you are good to go.

We've been camping since 1976 (or 1967 if you count my time at home) if it gets cold enough to freeze we use a space heater. We enjoy camping in the winter so we have never winterize any camper we have own. Our trailer is kept out of the wind in an enclosed shop.

Hmmm! So that's why it takes me an hour to blow out my lines... and I always thought it was cause I didn't have an air compressor!!!
