Hello from Central Florida

Dw and I just bought a new (to us) 2005 RKS. This is our first TT as we are moving up from tent camping. After reading the posts on this forum I just wanted to say thank you for all the information I found here. I have learned so much. Of course you have cost me a lot of money with all your "recommendations" of equipment I need that I would never have thought of.

I do have one question though. When it comes to water hoses several folks have said they bought one long hose and cut it into several shorter hoses of different lengths. What kind of ends are you using? All the metal ones that I find are not labeled as being safe for drinking water and many contain lead. Are you using plastic or something else?

Thanks again and keep up the good work,

Brian

I just carry 2 25' hoses and 1 has always been enough(so far).

Tunce,

Yea that would probably be the way to go had I done the hose end research PRIOR to buying the 50' hose. LOL

My plan is to cut into three hoses haven't decided on exact lengths yet but something like 30,15, and 5.

Check Walmart, as I found them to have the best price on hoses, and get 2 -25 ft, as others have mentioned.

I run a 2' from the city water supply to my sediment filter, then a 25' to the camper's city water inlet, unless we're staying long term. Then another 2'er from outlet side of filter #1 to the inlet side of the water softener, thence to the 25'er and into the camper.

"Thence."
