Help, how to sanitize fresh water tank

Hi
I am getting my new trailer out of hibernation and ready to go. My question is my old trailer had a fill port on the fresh water fill, so I could add chemicals. My new trailer is a 306RKDS and it has a docking station, no place to add any thing.
Another question is what is everyone doing for sanitation?
My wife likes to add about a half cup of bleach to first fresh water fill, but then I need to flush it quite a bit to clear the smell.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chuck

Thanks that a unique approach. But everything I read quotes 1/4 cup per 10 gal of water and my tank is 40 gal. Don't think I could get enough in?

Here is what I do for my 195RB.

Sanitize: 1/4 cup Clorox per 15 gallons. Use almost ½ cup for complete system. Set for 12 hours, drain flush, refill
Purify: 1 tsp per 10 gallons. Use almost 3 tsp Clorox.

I understand the Clorox but my big question is how do you get it into the fresh water through the docking station. When the valve is open to fill thee fresh water tank can I add by using short hose and gravity feed it

Do you have on board water filter, I remove the spin on filter cover, filter is already removed from winterizing, pour bleach into filter housing and replace then fill tank with water. Water goes from water connection through filter into holding tank so the bleach ends up in the tank with water. Easy as that done..... except the flushing part
