HELP...Need to mount TV in 264BHW

I can't be the only one with this question on such a popular model. The 264 is not the only trailer with this set up, either. The wall above the dinette has the sticker for mounting bracket, and I've used stud finder to be sure the plywood backer is there; it is.
So, my questions are: What bracket do I get? It can't be the drop in kind because there's no room to get tv up that high due to ceiling--it would need to slide in from side, I guess.
My second question is about hardware for putting it on wall. Long lag screws won't work because wall is only about inch thick.
Any advice?

The backer is 11 7/8" x 17 3/4" x 5/8". The center of the circle on the sticker is supposed to represent the center of the plywood backer, however do not count on it to be perfect.

What I purchased to mount the TV, Amazon.com: EZ Mounts - Full Motion Tilt Swivel Articulating TV Wall Mount Bracket With Removable Face Plate for EZ On-Off Installations Prefect for Trailers, RV's Campers, Extends to 18", Fit's most 19" 22" 26" 32" 36" 37" 39" 40"42" inch Ve

The TV is re-movable from the mount and does not need as much room to mount and un-mount with this assembly as many other options do.

I have 1 inch long Phillips head (Number 3 size head) lag screws for the mounting of the bracket.

Thanks for the input!
So with the lag screws, they do not protrude through the other side?

No, I will measure one of them for you in the morning to tell you exactly how long they are.

Amazon.com: VideoSecu LCD Monitor TV Wall Mount Articulating Arm Bracket for most 12"-24", some up to 27" with VESA 100/75mm LED Flat Panel Screen TV ML10B 1E9: Electronics This is the mount we have in our 26BH. It is good for up to a 24" TV. Most of the MonoPrice mounts are good quality and Amazon has been carrying them. I went with a swing mount because we remove the TVs every time the TT goes in storage and when we are moving...makes it easy to get behind the TV to remove the one bolt that connects the TV bracket to the swing arm.

The screws that came with the mount are too long. Just hold up a screw at the end of the wall and you will see how short they need to be to not go thru the entire wall.

Not to thread jack but what brand TV do they come with? The jay flight? My wife and I were going to order a 26bh and seen the pic of the 28" tv it comes with and it seems awkwardly high. Hard to view. Does it pull down? Pics? Thx

Welcome to the forum.

It might help to start a new topic to get responses from folks that have the 26BH.

Southco mentioned having a TV from jayco I Figured most of the tvs were the same brand in the travel trailers, not 26bh specific but I'll do some more research. Thx

I have a 27DSRL and want to mount a bigger tv than the 32" Jensen. Anyone know what kind of backer is on this model? It Buckeye's 11 7/8" x 17 3/4" x 5/8 standard? This TT has the 38" wide built in area.

I just bought the easy mount for my 24 in TV. The backer covers some of the inputs! Did you modify the plate at all? If I cut an inch off the side, that should fix it. Won't affect the screw holes for the TV. Just won't be able to mount my 42 in in the future.
