HELP!! No power to POWERED TONGUE LIFT

I have a 2018 Jayco 26BH and I jacked up the pedestal/foot to high and must have popped a fuse somewhere. I've checked every fuse inside the inverter cabinet and everything was good. I also have an external auxiliary fuse that's accessible near the up/down switch that tested fine. I don't have any +12V coming into that red wire from the trailer itself...

Any other ideas are most welcome!!

Thanks in advance.

Check for an inline fuse at the battery.

My Electric Tongue Jack has an internal resettable Fuse that resets automatically. No external fuse was required.

FOUND IT after much chagrin!

Ended up tracing the power wire feeding the powered jack hand over hand until it went into a 4x4 junction box SLAP FULL of wires. Noticed it connected with a wire nut to a green wire.......traced the green wire back out of the junction box and tucked away neatly (out of visual sight) was an inline 30A fuse. Green wire in - green wire out which really through me off.......I'm not a low voltage DC expert but green has never been associated with power circuits in my travels.

In any case, fuse replaced, jack functional and looking forward to a frigid weekend of camping in sunny Florida.

Thank you guys!

I'm happy to hear that you found it. As Grumpy mentioned, that inline fuse is often the case when it comes to tongue jack issues, usually caused by running it out too far as you mention. I always carry a spare or two with me just in case.

Glad you found it! It is common to pop that fuse when you reach the end of travel. Most people replace the traditional fuse with a auto resetting circuit breaker style. There are a few different styles out there, but they will eliminate a lot of future annoyances.

There is no neutral in 12 volt circuits so white is ground and all the other colors can be positive. Tail lights and turn signals are a prime example.
