Some models have the option/ability to retract in "manual mode". Need to disclose what equipment you have before anyone can give accurate advice.

There is no brand name on the awning. There is no manual for it. The Jayco manual only says "your unit may be equipped with an awning."

Well, how about the particulars on the TT you have. Someone may or does have the same model # & size, etc., as you do and they could help. No all TT's have the same awning or fridge, etc.,

Call dealer you bought it from or Jayco Customer Service. They should be able to tell you. check your MSRP listing also. Should not be a mystery.

Used a set of Jumper wires on the motor connectors and a 12 v fishing camera battery to roll it up so motor is good. I think there must be a cut or crimped wire as switch is goo too. Still under 2 year warranty so will let the dealer handle it. In the meantime I wonder how the warranty will handle the shredded awning from the late evening drive home?

When the dust settles, let us know what happen with the shredded awing cloth. Would be surprised if you get any satisfaction on that part of the issue. Post results.

Went to our dealer Mon AM and he got us right in as their policy takes care of customers a.s.a.p. It was a broken wire so a 15 minute fix. Sent Jayco pics of awning but was not hopeful..Will keep you updated.

Jayco denied warranty on the awning fabric so now the fight is on. Any suggestions how to win as do not want to spend $600 for a new canvas.
