Help with Jayco Customer Service?

Hi -

Does anyone have a contact that can help with a customer service escalation at Jayco?

Short version of my story: I took delivery of a 2018 19BH the first week of June. A week later when I brought it into the dealer to have them adjust the WDH, it was discovered that the coupler was broken and had to be replaced.

It has now been over 5 weeks and Jayco has still not shipped a replacement coupler. This is frustrating b/c they have this part and it is being used on multiple models that are being built but yet, one is not being allocated to my dealer to fix on an already bought trailer.

Frustrating...if it wasn't for the safety issue of the coupler, I wouldn't be as concerned but this is frustrating after just buying a new trailer.

Any advice or contacts for resolution?

Congratulations on the new Jayco and welcome to the forum.

The first thing I'd do is to call Jayco to follow up on what your dealer is telling you. Some folks have found that sometimes the delay is due the dealer, not Jayco.

When I bought my new Jayco 29 RLDS back in 2012 every time I took it out I had to bring it back to the dealer for something that was wrong. Each time they had it for about a month. A few times I received a call saying it was ready only to find out they didn't do a thing to it.
I hope all Jayco customers don't have this experience but over the years it happens more times then not. My next trailer will not be a Jayco

As has been mentioned in 95% of these type situations the dealer dropped the ball and never ordered the part.

Hope you use a different dealer because no matter what brand you buy you will probably have the same problem.
