Question Hitch ball size for 174 BH

Hi there,

Could you tell me a hitch ball size for Jayco 174 BH 2016. In two days I have to take it, but current owner doesn't know exactly.

Thanks.

2 5/16

EDIT: I'll defer to JFlightRisk's post... However I thought they quit using 2" on TT.

I don't have that model TT, but everything I could find states it takes a 2" ball. Perhaps the previous owner could look on top of his. It should be stamped on top.

If you contact Jayco with your VIN, they will tell you for sure.
I had the same question, and they advised me that it might be either, they can only tell you from the VIN

I wonder if it depends on whether it is made in Indiana or Idaho?

Isn't the size stamped on the tongue?

I found your model 174BH 2018 on a RV rental site, and they say 2" Ball.

My 2019 154BH Baja uses a 2", and I'm confident the 2016 174 BH does as well.
