Question Hitch height on 05 29 BHS?

We will be picking up our new to us TT sometime this spring. We just bought a Reese straight line hitch. Our old hitch ball is adjusted for our Sunline 2553 which I think is lower.. Not having it here to measure I need to know the height so we can have it ready for pick up day which can'r come soon enough... Sick of snow!

Welcome to JOF

I would recommend calling or contacting Jayco through their website to get an accurate measurement ...., have you VIN handy.

Ok, just measured the hitch height, sitting level on concrete, the tongue at the top of the ball is 22", thus the trailer loaded and hitched should ride at 22" ball height.

Be sure to allow for suspension give and WDH movement, but this will get you safely down the road, you can tweak it later.
