Hitch Install Parameters

I have a 24BH (my first trailer) on order and have been slowly gathering all of the accessories I’ll need so I’m ready when it arrives. I’m ordering the Anderson anti-sway hitch for my RAM 2500, and would like to have it installed beforehand when I go to pick up the trailer.

The Jayco sales app states “hitch ball height - 25 3/4””. Is it safe to assume this is an accurate level height to go off of when I install the hitch (without having the trailer), or are there other factors that mean I should wait to have both the truck and trailer?

Pretty safe, but when you order your Anderson, you need to let them know it’s an underslung coupler as that requires a special setup (according to Anderson), when I checked in to it.
