Hitch receiver locks

We purchased a new TT with auto level and the receiver hitch is larger than most as it most locks won't fit it, the width below where the ball would go in is 5", does anyone know of a lock which fits this situation.

I just ran into the same problem and at one time I saw a lock that is in the shape of a ball and it fits right inside. I’m on the road now but 1 st chance I get I’ll be looking for one.
Anyone here know what I’m talking about?

Whatever you do, donít get either one of these, they are extremely easy to either pick or cut off.

Would you believe I've purchased both of those 3 days ago and neither one will fit. I had car problems Thursday in Tacoma and couldn't Leave the trailer at the dealership so I dropped it off at a strip mall and it had a Tractor Suply store, bought one then the other.
Long story short no one stole the trailer and I'm back on the road but I'll be looking for a lock of some kind .
Thank you for the heads up and hopefully It should help some members.

Now this guy is a professional but I have my own lock pic tools as I am always losing keys to locks and I had one of the chrome master ones and first try, 5 seconds I had it open. After coming across this guys videos, I will never buy another Master lock.

Probably one of the best out there. All these will usually stop a quick steal but even the Proven Ind one could be defeated in less than a couple minutes if you attack from the bottom with a recip saw with a good blade or a cutoff wheel...

I had the same difficulty. The largest provision for the tongue was 4.75" that I found. I ended up getting a hitch ball and modifying it and securing it with my hitch lock.

I removed the lock washer and ran the nut all the way up the shaft then staking the threads to prevent the nut from being removed. Before I ran the nut down onto the stakes, I coated the threads with JB weld (4000 pounds of sheer strength) to secure it. After the compound set up in 24 hours I painted the bottom half of the hitch ball black so it is not as conspicuous. Here's a picture before the spray painting.
