Hitch Weight of 154BH Baja Edition

Good morning. Am contemplating getting the 154BH Baja Edition and am curious about how much more the hitch weight of this trailer is versus the non-Baja model. The dry hitch weight of the non-Baja model is listed at 280lbs, but of course once you add a propane tank and battery that will go up to maybe 350lbs? With a 30lb propane tank and front stabilizers on the Baja model, plus maybe some other considerations (I generally travel with water tanks empty), I assume the hitch on the Baja model is higher, but would like to know how much higher it is. Currently we are not thinking about adding a second battery, but just going with one. Thanks ahead of time for your responses.

Looking at the 'yellow sticker' (side of TT) the "as-shipped" UVW (includes LP filled weight) the standard 154BH is approx. 2,650lbs, and the 154BH Baja model is approx. 2,700lbs. Both models have a GVWR of 3,250lbs. The 'yellow sticker' UVW's taken from RV dealer web site inventory.

IMO both models under loaded conditions (ready to camp) when considering the very limited CCC, a gross TT loaded weight approaching/or at GVWR is highly likely, thus the "loaded" tongue weight with both models would be almost identical. Also, one's personal loading habits would come into play.

Based on a loaded gross weight of 3,250lbs (worst case scenario), the recommended loaded tongue weight range would be 325lbs - 487lbs (10% - 15%). With the single axle 154BH models a minimum loaded tongue weight of 422lbs (13%) would be desirable. Of course a "conservatively loaded" 154BH would result in a reduced gross weight and loaded tongue weight.

Just food for thought until some JOF 154Bh members chime in with their feedback and/or scaled weights.

Here's another recent JOF thread on the 154BH that may be helpful:
