Holding button when closing slides

Hey guys I’m hearing different info on this. I just took delivery on my 2019 Eagle and the big kitchen slide isn’t like the other two that click when they are closed or open... am I really supposed to hold the button and let the motors keep bogging down for five or ten seconds every time I put the slide in or out? Or do i only do that if there is a problem?

Thanks!

Chris

If the slide has the aluminum rails attached to the sides, yes. Hold the switch for a few seconds after it opens or closes that keeps the motors in sync.
