Been wanting to update the lousy bath fan. Really debated going with max air fan but with 3 kids couldn’t pony up the money at least for now. Installed the vortec 2 fan and it is 10 times better than the stock. Simple install and I think that as long as it holds up long term probably going to be a real happy camper with this new fan! So leave it up to my 3 kiddos to expose some of the cheap construction techniques of the rv industry! The classic let’s secure the backrest to the seat of the dinette with just staples! Thanks Jayco! Fixed with some flat bolts that match the stain color great with some fender washers and lock nuts.

So another cheap upgrade that I have been wanting to get done but has always spaced my mind. Not quite an oh wow! Upgrade but definitely makes draining the water heater super easy and convenient!

Thanks! There are so many great fixes/upgrades from members on this forum! One of these days I might be done doing things to this camper but by then it will be time for a new one and time to start all over!

So going through the camper to prep for this season and my spark knob on the stove just snapped off. So usually when something gets broken I try to upgrade it and make it better. So once again this is not an original idea but a push button auto igniter found its way on the stove and man it’s so much nicer and quieter than the old crank knob that you would have to pop 2 or 3 times to get a burner to light!Click image for larger version

Is this the model 90046-CR? I've been meaning to replace my factory fan but don't want to commit to a full vent and fan replacement.

Sorry for late response but yes that’s the number. Hengs vortex ii and for a follow up after using it a bit it has worked incredibly! It can move some serious air through the camper and have no regrets as of now!

So now that my little ones are starting to ride bikes I wanted to invest in a bike rack. Really wanted an a frame rack and being a family of 5 I needed something that could haul a bike store worth of bikes! After researching I found a company in Canada that had a 4 bike carrier! It wasn’t cheap but now we can haul all 4 bikes. Then when my youngest gets to riding we will just need to store hers in the camper.

First trip of the season on the books! We went to cloud land canyon state park in Georgia for a week! If you go book the west rim loop. Big sites lots of trees and nice a quiet. The hiking was awesome there and some nice waterfalls in the park also! Spent a day in Chattanooga to see ruby falls and rock city which was awesome! Did have a little toilet issue that needed fixed. Thank goodness I had the parts to fix it!
