Hose and Valve Help

Hello...I need to replace this 90 degree valve, sprung a leak. I have no idea what this part is called or what size the hose blue hose is. Any suggestions and part names would be helpful. My trailer is 2017 DSBH. I figured I should probably change the plastic valve on the toilet as well and perhaps stock up on some blue hose to have on hand and clamps. Thanks in advance!

Is it leaking at the fitting. Check the cone washer inside, you can get new ones at most big box stores along with the 1/2" PEX line (blue pipe). In order to properly reinstall the PEX you need special clamps and the tool for those clamps. I would consider Shark BIte or Watts quick connect fittings also at most big box stores.

The tubing PEX. It's likely 3/8" but could be 1/2". The size should be printed on the tubing. PEX requires specific compatible fittings and clamps as well as specialty tools to install properly. You cannot get enough pressure from a worm gear hose clamp. You can get most PEX supplies at your big box home improvement stores, but I have had a hard time finding fittings like the one you need to replace in stock anywhere. Have had better luck getting the specialty fittings online.

I was just a my local Lowe's in the plumbing department picking up some PEX fittings. They had the PEX fitting you are looking for in stock. I just did some work on my water line leading to the toilet and everything was 1/2" PEX.

I'm chasing the exact leaking fitting on our hot water tank.

I posted the same problem and just got back from ACE getting two cone washers.
Going to install them right now fingers crossed!

You have to use a small screwdriver to remove the washers.

I could not find the correct size washer so I grabbed my Channel locks and tightened the two fittings pretty tight and the leaks stopped.

Had the same problem with the outdoor kitchen faucet.

I needed one of the cone washers to replace a distorted one, and found the ones from the hardware store are just a smidge different, and don't fit well, even though they look like they're the same. Ended up getting a few from a local RV dealer, and VOILA! Perfect replacements.
