Hot water heater question

Can the hot water heater run if I’m just plugged in at my house? Or does it need to be hooked up to 30/50 amp?

Thanks...Im obviously not an electrician.

Yes, your electric water heater will operate just fine on a standard 15a or 20a household outlet. You may not be able to operate any other high draw appliances, microwave etc. but the water heater will be fine by itself.

As long as you don't run anything else electrical. Should look at the main breaker in TT to see what amp breaker you have (15 amp ??) and that the outlet you use on the house is at least the same as what you have in the TT.
