Hot water Problems

I'm sorry if this is been posted before and I searched and couldn't find it. I have a Jayco 32 BHDS and the hot water comes on but I only have hot water for 10 seconds. What am I missing?

Let the hot water run for 5 min in the morning before showing so the propane kicks on the 19 gallon refresh feature. Kind of a pain but that's the trick. Make sure both the electric a d propane are on to make it work.

Is the center bypass valve closed?

Center by-pass valve should be closed.

The hot water heater in the 2018 is one valve now not 3 but I had a 2011 it had 3 valves Grumpy is correct that one valve must be closed.

Still at a loss.

I'm pretty sure all the valves are open. If I'm wrong please let me know. I'm hoping this picture posts and you can see it. Thanks again.

Your bypass valve is open, allowing cold water to flow into the hot side. The valve in the vertical pipe should be closed. Give that a try.
