Hot water shower handle leaks

I was wondering if any one has had their water handles leak when the pump is on? My hot water line started leaking when the pump was on. I tightened down the nut on the back but that didnít seem to work. I also checked it to see if thereís a crack in it and I didnít see one. Not sure what my next step should be. Iíd also like to install a shut off valve to the shower lines has anyone done that?

Did you remove it and check the cone washer?

Is that on the inside of the black connector? Then yes, it’s there and good.

SharkBite 24657A Faucet Connector... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07611TLFQ...p_mob_ap_share

I would replace it with a flex line with a cutoff.

When you replace the cone washers and put it all back together...pick up some of that PINK (thicker) plumber's tape. You can use the white, but the pink works better. Wrap it fairly tightly on the threads of the male side, and go in the direction you will be connecting, in other words, clockwise.
