Hot water tank issue - light stays on, water is warm

Hi everyone,

I have a 2011 Jayco Jayflight 28BHS and have an electronically controlled hot water tank. I just bought the trailer last fall and set it up on it's permanent park site. The trailer was winterized, so I opened the bypassed valves, connected the city water and then turned on the hot water tank switch (on LP). It ignites and heats up, however the light on the switch stays on and the hot water is hot at first then quickly just becomes warm. Now it stays warm just not very hot - all the while the light never turns off, contrary to the instructions that indicate it should turn off within 15 seconds of turning it on or turned off, wait 5 seconds and try again. I've done this but since it ignites I'm not sure what to think - that and the fact the water is not hot as it should be. Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers Pierre
