Hot Water Temp. - To Hot

The hot water temperature in our G2 31BHDS is really, really hot, is there a control dial somewhere in the unit to regulate the water temperature? I have looked everwhere and can't find it. Also, the gray and black water push/pull tee handles on the outside of the unit, I am just guessing but is pulling them out to open the valves and pushing them back to close the valves. As you can tell I am new to this, just had the unit set on it's permanent site on Friday.

YouTube has a nice video for this mod. I found it under RV Today Archive - RV thermostat replacement. It would not let me cut and paste the hyperlink...

I think this is a link you are referring to:

Only problem with lowing the temp is that you will start to decrease your shower time.

It is a little difficult sometimes on the iPad! If you find a YouTube video you like, as you are watching it there should be an email icon at the bottom. Hit that and have it create a draft email. The link to the video will be in the email - you can then copy the link to the clipboard and paste it into your posting. Cancel out the email and delete the draft.

Hope that helps!

Yes you pull out on the handles to open ( dump) and push in to close the valves.
There may be a mixer valve between the cold water in and the hot water out on your hot water heater. If you open this valve a little some cold water will mix with the hot water leaving the hat water tank.

We used to have a Prowler travel trailer and the hot water was lite manually. The good part is that you could adjust the temp by sliding a little lever.
