How do I know which AC I have?

I hear discussions about 13.5 and 15 AC units. Made by either so and so or so and so.
Generally the conversation is because they are adding a soft start and they'll mention what was recommended by the manufacturer.
How do I find out what I have, 13.5? 15? Coleman? (Or someone else)?
Before I crawl up there, is it labeled plain as day or should I be looking in a particular spot?
Is it stamped on the compressor? A sticker?

Thank you,

If you send Jayco the vin # they can give you a list of options and appliances
for your unit.

Send a message via Skype™ to ALJO
and otherwise go on top and take the A/C cover off and you'll see the sticker with all the information you need.

Mine had labels under the top cover on the ac and a duplicate set under the air filter plate inside the camper

As geezerbob says, it's on both ends. Take the 4 bolts off the top cover or the 4 screws on the ceiling inlet/ outlet and it will be up there in the dark.

Take a picture for future reference.. Google the model # and you are home free.

Probably a Coleman Mach III
