How do I replace a rear brake/signal light

Looking for some advice on how to get the cover off a rear drivers side brake/signal light.

Tested the 7 pin and all other lights work so assuming I need to replace the entire housing and light itself.

LED, Command Electronics, oval shape.

Just can’t find where to pry off the red casing as I assume there are screws and quick connect wiring behind it.

Are these little plastic plugs that pry out to reveal screws underneath?

I just serviced mine while travelling 2 weeks ago. My unit is similar, but does not include the back-up lights in the centre - so this might not apply.

The red cover was held on by 4 tabs around the perimeter. Then there was a bead of sealant against the trailer. I gently cut the sealant, then the red cover easily popped off.

In case you are having a similar issue - the replacement cost for these is silly. I did some simple diagnosis, and determined that one of the diodes had failed. I jury rigged the light to provide 'high' only (stop and signal, but not running) and finished my trip. I'll replace the diode when I have some down-time.
