I place 4 bikes in the arear between the dinette and kitchen area. I wrap any areas of rubbing with blankets and towels. I also take a fifth bike, it is an adult 3 wheel bike. I take the rear wheels off and place them on the sofa. I place the frame on the floor just inside the door.

It is a pia but I get to take all 5 bikes and have no other way to bring them along.

Inside, between the bed and half wall in the master bed area. covered with blankets and bungee cords to keep from moving around. We carry 3 - 4 bikes that way...

This is what I use. Works very well and not too expensive.

We also struggled with how to transport bikes and came up with a solution that works for us and doesn't give up the bed space of our truck. We have a BakFlip folding hard cover over the truck bed. It doesn't cover the stake pockets in the bed rails. We have chrome tubular bed rails installed into the stake pockets. We then attach a Yakima "roof rack system" to the bed rails over the hard bed cover. To avoid the reduced mpg and UV deterioration to the rack components we use two ceiling mounted bike pulleys in our garage. The completely assembled rack is easily and quickly removed between trips by backing into our garage, releasing the mounts on the bed rails, attaching hoist hooks to each side of the rack, and then hoisting the rack up snug to the garage ceiling, leaving plenty of room for a car to park beneath. Install is reverse, but just as easy.

I have decided to just have a custom receiver installed by a hitch shop. I thought I found one from lippert, but I just don't see how it would mount on my trailer. I have a 4 bike carrier now, but I think I will be buying one of these instead - http://www.kotulas.com/deals/garage-...00lb.-capacity

That rack is very interesting. Let us know if you get it and how it works out. If it's decent I might swap my "frame hanging" bravo for this. I would prefer a this style.

I too have a frame hanging one - I think I will prefer this as well. I will post what I find - I am going to try and get a quote at minimum for the receiver on Monday/Tuesday, but hopefully they will be able to get it done this week. Then I will order that rack.

I really like that hitch. I called Kotula about purchasing just the wire loops on either end that fold down but they said they can't sell just that part. I could put those on my factory pullout very easily.
Anyone know of a source or makes that rack for them?
