How to Access A/C ductwork in ceiling

Has anyone found a feasible way to access their ductwork that runs in the ceiling to the vents?

I am more curious about this than anything. If repairs are ever needed, how do we go about accessing the duct system?

What or why would you need to repair?

There have been multiple issues across all brands of RV's of owners discovering crimped, crushed, unsealed ductwork in RV duct systems. How do we as owners fix this problem if we ever encounter a ductwork issue?

The biggest problem I have found concerning my duct work was how the vents in the ceiling were connected to the ducts. Out of my 5 ducts only two were connected properly. I fixed those myself by properly mating the vents to the ducts and covered the holes to the roof with aluminum foil tape. If you feel there is an obstruction in the ducts you should use one of those remote cameras to see if there is any blockage.

To access the duct work itself you will need to open up the ceiling, something I would never attempt on my own.

The unsealed issues are where the holes are cut or where the a/c unit sits itself, both readily accessible. No need to get into the ceiling itself. The only way to do that would be totally dropping the ceiling panels.

The crushed duct work discussion is for the furnace since they use material similar to dryer vent and that is in the underbelly or basement.

I agree the heater ductwork crushing does occur more frequently as it's flex ducting. We had a new TT unit years ago that did have broken ductwork in the ceiling. I found it with my borescope. Dealer repaired it and they said they dropped the ceiling...but how?
