How to change shower curtain Jayflight SLX 18ft

I posted this thread in the Jayco Ultralight forum as well: The shower curtain does not have traditional shower rings, as you know. I will have to use a tension bar for a new shower curtain, but I want to remove the existing curtain in a way that I can replace it if/when I get a different trailer (so I don't want to cut it off). Any suggestions? Thanks.

When I put in the Extend-a-shower (https://www.amazon.com/Stromberg-Car...7975263&sr=8-3), I simply unscrewed one end of the factory track and simply slid the old shower curtain off. I then re-screwed in the end of the original track, leaving it in the unit. You can see it in the picture with the red arrow pointing at it.

Colby, did you find studs (such as they are) in the walls to attach each end of the new rod? If so, did you find them on your own, or get schematics from Jayco? Thanks.

I used a studfinder (I have one that detects density behind as well as electrical). I did have the schematics to verify and also used the "knock" method... [emoji6]

It lined up perfectly and level. We really like the extra space when it is swung inside and nothing bounces...

Thanks — it looks great. Nice mod!

Welcome aboard!

To bad my HTT is on a long winter vacation far far way in storage. I do not recall how I removed mine. I recall I had to look at if for a little bit, before I removed it. I am sure I removed the clips from the rail.

I think I squeezed the rail and the clips popped out. It has been to long, can you post a few pictures of the rail and clips??
