How to clean awning

Hello all!
I know I am not the only one that has a difficult time getting the bottom (white) side of awning clean? Any suggestions of what works? All comments are appreciated. Thank you in advance!😄

I use Simple Green partially diluted with water. I rinse the awning, then spray on the simple green, brush with a medium bristle brush, and rinse. I used the telescoping handle from my car wash brush to get the higher areas, but was able to reach the majority of the awning standing on the ground.

I no some will not like this idea but it works for me. I mix about a 40 60 bleach water mix in a pump sprayer. Spray the awning down roll up awning for about 15 minutes then open the awning and rinse with LOTS of water. Makes it look new again. For really stubborn spots a mr clean magic eraser works great also.

I have a deck sprayer setup for just this purpose. I'm not quite as strong on the solution but I do this quite often and it keeps the awning looking like new.

I cleaned mine for the first time this year. It had a green coating of dirt and mildew and now it looks bright white like new.

I have 2 sponge mops. One I use for cleaning, the other is in a bucket of clean water for rinsing.

I sprayed the white portion of the awning with "Spray 9" and let it soak for a minute or 2. Then I washed it with the first mp that had been lightly dampened. Once i worked the "soap" in I rinsed it with the 2nd mop. Amazing results.

Anyway, I did the whole trailer with the same method, though I only sprayed the cleaner on the streaks. Did it all in about 45 minutes.

I like Spray Power but Simple Green works too. I spray it on full strength, roll up the awning and let is soak for 20 minutes or so. Un roll, theawning and use a car wash brush as needed. If I want to clean the top side use the brush while some one open the awning. Rinse the awning when all done.

I use what ever the wife has for cleaning the bathrooms if I can sneak out of the house with it Usually, it's Fantastik Scrubbin bubbles, which works pretty good. I'll wet the awning down, spray the cleaner on, wait a couple of minutes, then scrub it with a sponge mop, or swap to a brush head if needed, then rinse and dry well before rolling it back up.

Read your awning owners manual about cleaning. Some awnings say NO bleach. There could be a small tag on the end of the awning that tells about cleaning also.
Soap and water, roll it up for X amount of time, unroll and scrub.
