Same question I had.
If you have a threaded tap at the bottom of the tank, I would look at buying another water pump like you have inside and plumb it to your city water connection. You will need 12V DC. Easiest power feed would be to create a fused power feed directly from the battery, with a water proof switch. Another nice thing about an rv water pump, they have a built in pressure switch.
If you have to pull/draw water up first to prime the tank, I am not sure how rv water tanks do, more than a foot or so.
1st thing make sure what ever pump you get is for potable water.
