Our Whitehawk weighs approx 6,500 plus a very full pickup when we go south over lots of mountain roads. I have a 1999 1/2 ton Sierra with towing package and oversized tranny cooler. With no load at all I get about 15 mpg. Fully loaded and towing we get 9-11 mpg. BUT I hasten to add that I drive 55 on the flat and 35 uphill.

2013 Expedition

We are in our second day of caravanning from Central Colorado to Marietta California. I am pulling about 11000 pounds plus truck with about a thousand pounds in the bed and of course 1400 at least on the tongue. My 7.3 diesel is running right at 10, 9.8 here, 10.7 there. My wife is pulling about 3500 pounds maybe four thousand on a flatbed and her 5.4 is getting 15.3 / 850 miles roughly
