When you first started with this camper you had the Toyota FJ. Did it tow ok? I notice it has a 5000lb towing capacity, and I have been eyeballing a Subaru Ascend with the same towing capacity. Ofcourse the Subaru has a turbocharged 4 cylinder, and I assume yours had a 6 cylinder.

It actually pulled pretty good, but we live in hill country so I rarely was able to use OD. The transmission would hunt a little on steep hills but not awful.

I did install a OBD meter to monitor temps and added a stacked plate transmission cooler to keeps everything happy.

The FJ did have a 6 cyl 4.0L that was fairly healthy.

We bought a 2020 Rockwood 2109s Mini Lite this past June.....I know this is going to come as a surprise, but I've modded it to death .

Just completed our 6th trip with it.

I wouldn't call it upgrading, more like expanding a little. I'd say quality is on par, there's some things I think Jayco still does better at and some things I like that Rockwood has done. Mostly it was the floor plan that suited our family the best.

The Mini-Lites are a nice looking trailer. There is actually one sitting in the spot next to us tonight though I think it's a 2511s. Congrats on the new camper and enjoy!

What we really want is an ORV 21RBS but they don't have any sales representation on our side of the country.......

I read on iRV2 this morning that somebody reported there are 2 Camping Worlds in the Dallas area that now carry ORV. Looks like they are slowing inching their way east.

Congrats on the new camper! I haven't been on the boards in a couple of months being so busy with softball and work. I have no doubt you've already got the mods going. The question is....did you start a new thread?!??!

Yeah I made a new thread but it's not as detailed as this one is.

I'm a newbie to camper trailers and winterizing the HB was a breeze. 1 Gallon did the whole system for me. Less than a half hour. I followed directions in the owners manual. Let me know if you need more details.

Hey Tundra,

Did you ever sell this rig? My oldest daughter is interested in getting something and this would be PERFECT for her!

We did sell it to a local couple, last I heard they were considering selling it and going to a larger unit, I can ask them if you’d like. They’ve taken really good care of it.

Hello. I am the person that bought Tundra's bird. He sent me an text regarding someone might be interested. We have actually been thinking about going just a little larger at some point, since I now have a F250 truck. I have added a couple of more items, and overall the unit is great and pulls like a dream, even with the smaller Titan I had. All of the items he listed are still on it. We thought about trading but were going to list it first to see if there is any interest. Let me know if interested.
