Hummingbird LED light strip pins

Hi,

I had a warranty repair on our Hummingbird's awning and the tech broke the outdoor LED light strip connector. The pins are missing. Now I can't find much on the actual fix for this. Hummy is in our storage and I won't be taking it out until the weekend. In the meantime, does anyone know how many pins are in the connector? I'm thinking it was five. And do I just cut off both ends and wire up a new waterproof led connection? Our dealer will take care of this but dealers can take weeks, months to get the replacement part and will no doubt ask us to bring it in.

Any insight is much appreciated.
It is an annoying break!
Thanks,
Mark aka rufusBC

I have been installing LED's on Bikes cars etc. I have taken my LED's on my HB apart while working on my stereo upgrade they are a 4 pin connector and if you wanted to replace it's just a standard RGB strip light with controller. Just a sec and I will add a complete replacement if you so choose. And I can prolly shoot ya a quick how to video tomorrow I might have a spare controller laying around

Hummingbird LED light strip pins

This is basically all Jayco use for their LED awning lights. Very easy and plug and play. If you replace just cut out the black silicone where the wires are ran and install new controller inside with the sensor hanging out like they had it. Or if just the connector is broken you can splice a new one on. There are 4 wires Red Green Blue and black or white (I've seen both)

I thought I could just find the replacement pins and jam them in
I have a great duct tape job keeping them going at the moment.

Hummingbird LED light strip pins

These are the pins I use when connecting some jobs

Eleidgs 60 PCS RGB LED Strip Connector 4 Pin LED Connector for 5050 3528 LED Light Strip / 4 Pin LED Extension Cable ( 30 PCS Black + 30 PCS White ) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M29FR86..._rLmjzbV5WR1Q4

Always heat shrink or electrical tape the connection so they done wiggle loose.
