Hummingbird RB

Hello, New to this site. We bought in June are first TT. 2017 Hummingbird 17RB to winter in Florida for a few months to get away from Erie's Pa snow! We did a 4 day shake down in Sept. Friends and family told us we were nuts. TT to small. Well they were wrong! Once set up and things put in there spots. Little hummy is great! We left Harborcreek on Feb.16th, heading home around April 4th. So far not one issue with TT or my wife. Found a nice RV resort 6 miles from the Villages. " Very Busy area" Lots to do in Central Fl. My 2010 Silverado 1500 gets near 13 mpg. Not to bad I guess.

Congratulations on a successful trip! We are considering this model for a change from our very roomy popup. I'm concerned about storage for clothes. Did you find the storage adequate for two people? This looks like a well thought out trailer.

For more storage I took out the shelve in the bathroom closet and put a clothes rod. works great! Also added a battery light switch inside. Wife bought 2 large basket that fits under the bed to store more fold up clothes. She found shoe rack that fits behind the seat. Large net in the bathroom holds 5 bath towels when rolled up plus the hair dryer. I added a rack behind the bathroom faucet to hold more things. She added Velcro to the shower curtain to hold in place. Helps to keep the water in. I put a stainless steel cover over the burners and mat on top for the dishes.
