Hummingbird Winter Cover

With the Hummingbird's profile, I am wondering what experience others have had in finding a winter cover that will fit properly. Are there any suggestions for manufacturer and model number? Thanks

I bought one on Amazon that is supposed to fit it well and has an opening for door access. It also fits the Rpod.

If yours is a 17RK I have a new cover in the box I'm getting ready to sell since we decided to build a shelter for ours.

Thanks for the info and offer. I, too have a 17RK Baja. I took a look at the Amazon listing and the customer reviews. I am not convinced that this is the right cover for our snowy cold winters. Let's see if anyone else has any ideas.

Did you decide on a cover for your HB 17RK?

Hummingbird cover

Unfortunately, no I have not. I have found many covers that are rectangular and may have to settle for one of them. The r-pod covers just seem to be made of inferior material.

I'm looking for a decent cover for our 17FD. Let me know what you end up with...

I purchased a 2018 17FD and am waiting to pick it up. Let me know what you find for your 17FD. I was looking at the Rpod covers for the 178 but don't know if it would fit or not.

We purchased the Classic RPod cover from Amazon for our 17RK: <Classic Accessories OverDrive PermaPRO Deluxe R-Pod Cover, Fits up to 20' long Trailers - Lightweight Ripstop Fabric with RV Cover (80-257-171001-00)>

I read in the reviews about how peopl ripped the covers on the drop rail over the slid out or other sharp edges. So, I covered these edges, the ends of the TV antenna and the bottom 4 corners with chunks of styrofoam (cut up packing pieces). No tears during installation this past Monday. The cover fits great and so far so good. It was definitely a two person two ladder job and at least one of the ladders needed to be at least 8 ft tall.

The URL to the cover didn’t make it through, so here it is in text:

Settled on an Elements cover

Just felt that I should end this discussion. I finally decided upon an Elements cover for a TT up to 20ft. Even though it is not "rounded" on the top, it fits well. Now we will see how it stands up the winter elements! Thanks to all who commented. I hope you all have a wonderful winter and we will see you on the road in the Spring.
