You brought up a reminder for the ones using a macerator. Don't use those chemical packs or pods with the wrapping in your black tank if you use a macerator. The chemicals inside leach out ok but leave the whole wrapping intact which will clog up your macerator. A macerator will not grind up the wrapping. Been there done that.

I installed Horst Miracle Probes in my black and gray tanks, and kept the factory probes in the galley tank.
The result - the black and gray tanks levels indicate correct, galley tank level always three lights.
