I can feel nail popping up under roof membrane

I was up on my 2022 Jay Feather today, installing the last fan cover. While I was up there, I felt around and could feel a few bumps, but one in particular toward the roof edge, it felt like a nail sticking up. It wasn't through the membrane, but it sure made me pause with concern.

This is near the edge where, WHEN I finally get to it (I think) will be covered by Eternabond.

Is there anything I can do about this now?

It would either be a screw or staple. There are numerous discussions about that and usually JAYCO says it's not an issue unless protruding through the membrane.

Before covering a popup make a small as you can X cut and remove the screw or whatever and replace with a bigger screw. Then put the Etearnabond over it. Just covering up the popup will let it break through the Etearnabond eventually.

I remember reading various threads here, about this. I really stink at the search function. I never seem to get very good or many hits.

Thanks Roger. Eternabond is in my roof’s future.
