I also bought the "valve". What I found was, there was little to no "slope" on the long pipe from my kitchen gray water tank to the main 4" sewer valve. One of the brackets holding the long pipe was too low and the drain pipe had a slight downward bend that held about a quart of water. I re-positioned the bracket, added "slope", and now the tank drains just fine.

I have had that issue with my 321RSTS. Before the flush cap there is a valve. I have forgot and left that valve open and like you said about a quart of water, from wherever?, comes out. After flushing close that valve or it may be bad?

Dribble trouble

Yeah might be a slow day but sounds like Jayco left an awful lot of discharge lines set up incorrectly.
Any comments on cutting the belly pan?

I get a bit of gray water dribble when I take the cap off. I thought about the gate valve but, being basically cheap, I put the hose in the hole of the dump first and then just hold the other end under the tube when I take the cap off and it just runs into the sewer hose and dump. Then I attache the sewer hose to the trailer drain and drain and flush as usual.

It might raise fewer alarm bells at the dump station that way as opposed to liquid flowing out on the ground.
