Ideas on how to lock down battery (12v) on my eagle?

I have a 2011 eagle and the battery is very awkward to get to, on my last camper it was easy to get to and i locked in pass thru storage when we weren't there. Now i would like to find a way to lock down on tongue. Any ideas

Mine is in the standard "trolling motor storage box" screwed to the frame. I've done away with the standard strap and replaced it with a bungee cord, same as on all my past rv's and boats. very reliable and easy to release.

Wrap a log chain around the box with a padlock. Redneck, but that is about the closest you will come.

I'm beginning to think maybe the chain option is going to be my best lol, Have heard they make a strap you can lock but I can't find anything on them :-(

How easy would a strap be to cut?!!!!! I assume you are worried about theft thieves dont care about the damage they do when stealing something.

I guess I am really better off leaving battery unlocked and just use the strap that came with it to hold down lid on box. Maybe if they can easily get to the battery they won't cut any of the wiring. Where my camper is parked they would be able to take their time and get what they want, cause it's out in the middle of the woods and can't be seen from the road. Insurance would cover it, I just don't want the hassle, and the battery cost less than my deductible.................................Thanks for the input everyone.

If you are worried about theft, I think you are best served by just removing it. Kind of like when you see a store at night - they just leave the cash register drawer open to signal no money. I had these un-cuttable locks on a box trailer - the stupid thieves destroyed the door mechanism and the skin of the door to get in -- but the locks were just fine

I am now of the opinion that if someone is set on taking something, they are going to do it and I just need to keep the physical damage down to a minimum when they do. Obviously removing some of the more valuable targets is really the best way to go.

I guess the if you install one of these they will just steal the whole trailer - there is no way to win...
