The only thing I wished was changed was the length of the awning. Our 28BHBE has the rear bathroom door and the 20' awning stops short of that door. Wished they would have put a 26' awning. We are not inside enough to warrant any changes.

On our 28BHBE I would like the bunks on the opposite side of the trailer so the storage would be on the front toward the awning.

The only thing I would change is the date I bought it. I sold our motorhome and went about ten years without camping. That is ten years lost! I should have bought this camper then.

We actually preferred the floorplan of the Whitehawk 24RBS better, but they wanted $6000 more for it -- for $6000 I decided I could be a little more flexible on what I wanted!

But if I could change one thing, it's to have windows in the sides of the slide. I think this would let a lot more sunlight into the trailer.

If the bed in our Hummingbird was turned 90 degrees so we could get out of it on both sides it would be more perfect......but it's not and it's still perfect for us.

We have a window on both sides of our main slide but not our bunkhouse slide. You can only see the rear slide from the one window. I have often wished they took that window and put it in the bunkhouse slide. They do bring in light though.

If I could do just one thing, I'd turn it into a motorhome. We've had 7 motorhomes and 2 trailers (one we only had for 2 months) and I'm ready to go back to a motorhome. Much more convenient. Looking at the Precepts.

1) For my Jay Flight 24rbs I would add a porch light with an on/off switch right inside the door - right next to a separate light switch for the inside! I can see NOTHING when I first come in the trailer at night and have to feel my way to open the high cupboard to turn on any lights - ridiculous...and the string lights under the awning are sometimes too bright for close neighbors at night.
2) I would have them redesign the movable table for the U-shaped dinette. IT'S A KNEE KILLER. I am having to put bubble wrap around the hinges so I don't get black and blue the next time, and I am not a big person.

I would have Jayco quit using inverted couplers. Ours has caused a few annoying problems.

Our daughter and son-in-law have the setup you wanted...it is exactly opposite our 28BHBE's and the bathroom entrance door is on the left side. I personally don't care for that but neither of us use the bathroom entrance much. They have the 29BHDS, also a 2017. They have an outdoor kitchen under the awning which is really nice.

A second A/C unit would be nice. The one unit is fine when we are set up with some shade, but our first outing was a 93 degree Labor Day in an unshaded site. The A/C just couldn't keep it as cool as we'd have liked until the sun went down. Being our first time out I did not know to start the A/C earlier in the day which would have helped. I cannot imagine how a single unit will handle the extreme temperatures while going out West after I retire.

A spare tire carrier mounted underneath is on my list, too.

And as someone mentioned, mounting the bedroom reading lights so they do not glare in your eyes would have been better.

Now do we very much like our Greyhawk, but like me, it is not perfect.

The thing I'd like to change we're hoping to change soon. Need more seating. We're going to remove our j-sofa & put in 2 recliners. We're also going to remove our dinette & put in a sleeper sofa.

I have a few, but I think putting the water pump switch in the bathroom would be #1. We have an island model with a rear bathroom entry (thats on the drivers side of the TV). You cant get thru the unit with the slides in due to the island, so to use the bathroom on the road, its in the front door, water pump on, around to the other side of the trailer (doors are on opposite sides), use the bathroom, back up front, water pump off. I have actually thought about relocating this myself after the 2 year warranty is up.

A close second would be 12 volt fans and/or AC vents in the bunk areas, they can get quite stuffy, and it would be really nice to be able to circulate air thru there (12 v fans) while traveling so they aren't so stuffy when you stop for the night.

Not a hitch, couplers on the trailer fit onto your ball on the ball mount in your tow vehicle's hitch.
I downloaded pics of standard and inverted couplers but can't move them around on this tablet to post here. Someone with better computer skills might post photos of the two types for you.

Mine would be better quality outdoor speakers, instead of the two tin cans it came with. Also, separate them more than a few feet.
My wife's wish would be for more, better located 110v outlets.
Some great ideas here. We both loved the idea of the pump switch in the bathroom, and a light switch just inside the door instead of 7' up in a panel full of switches.

Oh yes having the water pump switch in the back bathroom while your traveling would be great. One more exterior porch light. Not sure I like led strip. But another porch light by second door. More storage outside on our model anyway.

If you install a 2 gallon accumulator tank in the system you will have plenty of capacity to flush the toilet a few times before needing to run the water pump again.

One other think I like about our trailer is that the couch and dinette are across from each other, not next to each other. When cooped up in the trailer it makes for a much better conversation/game playing area than when you are all sitting on one side like a bus stop.

The one thing: I didn't like the sliding doors that separated the bedroom from the rest of the trailer, so they're in the attic and will be added back if we ever sell it. And... (2 things... I'm cheating ) ... LED strip has to be on when step light left on. Removed one wire and that's done, but the LEDs will only work with the remote. I will be adding a switch for dual control, probably this afternoon. And... (still cheating ) I wish it had come with 15" wheels, and LRD tires. I have already had to upgrade to LRD tires but they're still 14".

Only thing I still need to do is upgrade to a Blue Ox Sway Pro hitch made for under-slung couplers.
