Great ideas here! Can you share how you attached the pvc bedrails? I thought maybe you found something to attach to the bottom of the pvc framework that is flat as to be anchored by the mattress and bed occupant. Thanks for some good ideas.

Thumbs up

Very, very nice mods, Kim! I like the file folder holders for holding foil as well as cutting boards & cookie sheets. Well done!

Interested in the PVC bed rails and how they are attached also. I have a 6 and 5 year old that will be sleeping on the top bunks.

thanks for the heads-up. i just ordered one online from camping world as well. looks like installation should be pretty easy?? did you use the same factory spot to mount the shower head? or did you drill new holes to adjust up or down in height?

We did the PVC bed rails for our top bunks......just put a 90 degree elbow on the bottom piece and cut another 20"+ piece of PVC and turn it back under the mattress...the weight of the mattress will hold it plus the weight of the person on the mattress....you don't have to glue these elbows or pieces to your rail...that way you can adjust and turn as necessary.
