Inline 30 amp fuse on frame near battery
My 2019 Jay Feather 24BHM has corroded terminals on the 30 amp in line fuse screwed to the frame not far back from the battery. While trying to clean and tighten the connections, I broke the metal fuse link out of the plastic case. I'd like to buy a replacement and also buy a spare 20 amp. The numbers on the plastic are 30A 12VDC
321-A4P-30 1218
The company logo is something like "emp."
Can anyone tell me where to buy a couple of these?

Go to auto parts store and buy a 20 amp cuircuit breaker that plugs in just like a fuse

I agree with Dannyabear, this is normally available at the local auto store.

If it's broke replace it with a re settable or a knife type fuse. Those inline fuses are prone to corrosion and intermittent problems.

I purchased 30 amp auto reset breakers that fit right into the fuse holder. Same shape etc. and no issues. I carry about 10 with me at the start of the season since invariably there's one guy at the campground who just fried his by lifting the electric jack to high. Makes a nice gift to save someone's day.

I've been wondering why my 30 amp fuse behind battery keeps frying?
Now I'm thinking it's because I have to lift my tongue jack up really far to get it level at home in my driveway!. Once when I had the dealer work on my RV they also had it up really high and when I picked it up I had the tech use a marker to draw a line around the point where it comes out of shaft so I know where I shouldn't go any further. I guess that line is really too far and I shouldn't go quite that far. My brother told me I should just replace the fuse with something higher like a 35 or 40 amp fuse (don't even know if they make a 35 amp?) but I haven't tried that...any thoughts?

I wouldn't go to a larger fuse, but since this is a problem at home why not just use a higher block under the jack. When not in use sit it in the garage.

I have the jack on the last hole giving me as much stand as possible. I also use as many concrete blocks as possible with only about 1/2 inch of clearance before the stand hits the concrete. My issue is the decline of my driveway is just a tad too much for my trailer to be level without going up so high on the jack. Maybe I should leave it a bit lower even though it's not perfectly level for the fridge?

Here is a 30 amp automatic reset breaker that fits in place of a fuse:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/253735901983
not that much more than the fuses themselves. I also use them in the fuse stack in the AC/DC converter panel. It's once and done.

Thanks for the link and picture.
I’ve never seen these before - so does this mean if my 30 amp fuse blows it automatically resets and doesn’t need to be replaced/checked and no maintenance (talking it out to check, etc)
Thanks for information

Generally yes, but even these breakers don't last forever. Still a good plan to have a fistful of fuses on hand.
I would be nervous about raising the tongue of my trailer that high though...

30 amp fuse on frame replacement
I finally found the name for the circuit breaker and it is available on Amazon for $10. I hope I was able to post a picture. It shows the broken 30 amp next to the unbroken 20 amp. They are Fastronix 12v Type 1 Automatic reset circuit breakers with cover. They have them in 10, 15, 20 30 and 40 amp ratings.

Please keep in mind that if a fuse or a resetable circuit breaker keeps tripping you have a problem that needs investigating. Don't think replacing a fuse with a circuit breaker is "fixing" your problem. Have the electrical issue looked at by a qualified technician. Also DO NOT EVER substitute a higher fuse or breaker in a circuit, you are just asking for trouble.

Yes I was just thinking the same thing. 2 days ago I put a fully charged battery in and raised tongue to hookup, no problem. Then plugged in 7-pin and drove home from storage, which is literally 5 minutes away. Got home unplugged 7-pin and once again blown fuse. At least now I know the fuse isn’t blowing due to raising jack too high cuz I didn’t even get to raise jack without 7-pin. Makes me wonder if a ground is exposed or something else?
By you’re right, putting in an electric fuse isn’t “solving the issue” but just putting a band-aid on, so to speak.

The simple things to look at would be check the power wire to the jack for rubbing or chaffing through to the frame somewhere, check the grounding of the jack to the frame. If you have a DVOM meter that can check amps, check the draw, number of amps, that the jack uses when operating. Other than these I would suggest taking the unit to you technician.
