Interior lighting fixture upgrade

Good afternoon,
Am planning to get rid of some of the cheap LED fixtures and replace with some oil rubbed bronze color fixtures over the kitchen sink, bathroom, dinette and bedroom. If you have done this, who have you found online that has the best selection?
Thanks for helping!

Good luck. There not much out there.

I might start with amazon, then try Command Electronics web site. Next I would try Pintrest, and some of the large aftermarket RV supply houses.

Good luck, let us know what you find.

There's a simple solution that we used in our trailer.

Just use the same fixture that you would use in a house. Plenty of those for around ten to twelve bucks.

Then, search on Ebay for 12 volt LED light bulbs that will fit the standard bulb socket. We're using 60w equivalents in our fixtures.
They make bulbs that look like regular, incandescent light bulbs. I would suggest you make sure you get bulbs with a color temperature of about 3000k. 5000k is too cold for my tastes, while 3000k provides light with a little warmth to it.

Installation is easy. Just make sure it goes somewhere that can support it's weight. Wiring is a snap. Two wires from the fixture go to the two wires that supplied power to the old 12v unit.

This is a good upgrade, at least for those who appreciate good, warm, diffused lighting over cold, point source lighting.
