Inverter Issue

The other day, I realized that the fridge was running off the inverter even though the shore power was plugged in. Looking at the inverter, it showed the output was good, but the input was only about 25 volt... Long story short, I tracked down the issue. Both neutrals on the inverter showed heat damage. The trailer is about 3 years old, and I've never had an issue before. All voltage checks out good. Surge protector shows no issue..... I clipped off the burnt wires and the shore power is now running the fridge....
Any ideas? All factory wiring..

Wires were probably lose, not pushed all the way in. There have been numerous reports of those push in connections not being tight.

You are seeing that right. That is what the factory uses as a jumper from the reset button... Guess they were running short on 4" of black wire... 😶

Yes. It is an Xantrex 1200. Would definitely prefer the screw type....
