Thanks for everyone's reply. I'm not one for extended warranties either. We did this time. We'll see. All things being equal it'd be better if we never HAD to make a claim.

Agreed, I `ve always said the best warranty is the one you never have to use. During my two year warranty period I only had one claim, a 25.00 toilet valve module that I installed myself.
